Sally Singh

President

Broker and owner of S² Real Estate Services, Sally Singh has 19 years’ experience as a dynamic professional in the real estate industry with a strong record of guiding local and multi-national clients to success in sales and lease transactions.

Sally has been on the Board of Directors since 2013, now holding the post of President, but previously serving as Vice President from 2018-2023 and President from 2015-2018.

Both as Vice President and President, her ethos has been to promote professionalism, high ethical standards and integrity amongst the membership and within the industry generally. Continuous professional development through education is her firm commitment aimed at uplifting the level of service provided by all real estate practitioners.

During her current one-year term as President, Sally is working with fellow Directors to prepare AREA for the proclamation of the Real Estate Agents Act which was passed June 1st 2020. Work is also being done on the Association regulations and code of ethics to ensure relevance in a fast-changing world as reflected in the real estate sector of Trinidad & Tobago.

Academic and Professional qualifications from the University of the West Indies include : Masters in International Relations; Bachelor of Arts in History and Politics; Diploma in Real Estate Brokerage from UWI School of Business & Applied Studies Ltd (UWI/ROYTEC); Diploma in Marketing from the Jamaica Institute of Management (JIM); Diploma in Real Estate Brokerage; Certificate in Principles of Real Estate Sales: Certificate in Real Estate Valuation; continuing education via monthly AREA Seminars and Workshops.

Sally’s professional experience includes representing AREA at the 2016 CARTAC/BOJ conference in Jamaica which focused on strengthening monetary policy for Regional central banks. AREA was the only organisation on the panel of presenters not from the banking sector. Her regional experience also includes working for Real Estate – Jamaica and The Investor’s Choice, gaining a wider perspective on business and investment. In 2015, she spearheaded the publication of AREA’s inaugural magazine commemorating its 25th anniversary

In addition to her service on the Board, Sally’s professional achievements were recognised by AREA in 2018 when she was selected as Broker of the Year (11-15 years’ experience category) and in 2019 she was one of the first AREA members to be awarded the title of Real Estate Professional (R.E.P.) in recognition of her qualifications and years of service.
