On Using A Real Estate Agent

Our recent online survey threw up some interesting information that we can use to improve the marketing of our Real Estate Practice.

A full 41% of persons seeking to purchase their own home were not planning on using the services of a Real Estate Agent. This presents a golden opportunity to promote the advantages of using your service. This can be well worth the investment in marketing.

Of those planning on using a Real Estate Agent – 45% do so because they believe they would provide more property options.

36% believed a Real Estate Agent will seek their interest in the purchase and 18% believe a Real Estate Agent will guide them through a complex process.

Building on these beliefs and focusing your marketing on this valuable information could yield significant benefits from your marketing.

Of the 41% not planning on using a Real Estate Agent, 63% believe they will save money. Once again, this is a great opportunity to dispel this false assumption.

25% of this group believe they don’t do anything they cannot do themselves. Once again, this is a false assumption that must be dispelled in the marketing of your practice.

A big 13% believe that Real Estate Agents are dishonest. Again, a big opportunity to promote the integrity of your Real Estate Practice.
