Mark Farrell is a Chartered Valuation Surveyor and a Consultant with G. A. Farrell & Associates Ltd (a firm of Chartered Valuation Surveyors) and one of its founders. Mark holds designations with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and the American Society of Appraisers. He has been carrying out real estate valuations for over 40 years and in addition to Trinidad & Tobago, has worked in the UK for a short period and in the US for 11 years.
Now retired, Mark continues to serve as a Valuation Consultant specializing in the valuation of Hotels, Gas Stations and Shopping Centres.
Mark is also a Lecturer at UWI Roytec where he teaches several courses in the Diploma in Real Estate Brokerage programme. He holds a Fellowship in the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), was licenced in 1996 as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and is an Accredited Senior Appraiser with the American Society of Appraisers (ASA).
Mark was elected as the Corporate Members’ Director on the Board of Directors of AREA in 2018 and continues to serve as one of the two special co-opted Directors, contributing to the Board in the area of finance.
An avid sports fan, he is a member of the Queens Park Cricket Club and the Tranquility Square Lawn Tennis Club.
